In General
- Be respectful to other members at all times. Any form of discrimination, personal insults or bullying will not be tolerated.
- Please try to use correct spelling and grammar. Text talk should be avoided wherever possible.
- Keep signatures to under 150px or 8 lines of standard text.
- Content should be kept PG13
- Advertising is to be done on the advertising board only.
- Give credit to the original creators of art, characters etc. Also refrain from using content from this site elsewhere without permission.
- The shoutbox is for staff anouncements, news and tags. For general chat please use the chatbox accessible to the right of the forum.
Roleplay
- Clearly indicate which territory a thread is in by including [IC] in the title of roleplay threads in Ivyclan territory, [RC] in Roseclan territory or [NC] in other areas. Also indicate if a thread is private in the title/first post.
- Posts should be at least three sentences in length and move the thread forwards. Try to use correct spelling and grammar.
- No powerplaying, godmodeling or otherwise making your characters invulnerable or unrealistic. We are an overall realistic site with low Starclan involvement.
- In character action means in character consequence. Roleplayers are required to respect the consequences.
- We use liquid time meaning your character can be in multiple threads at the same time.
Characters
- There is no character limit. If you can no longer handle all your characters you may put them up for adoption or message a staff member to have them archived.
- Characters are to be realistic in appearance and personality.
a. Albinistic cats, wild hybrids and one off mutations are not permitted without special permission.
- Names of clan cats cannot contain celestial bodies (sun, moon, star), names of clans (Rose, Ivy) or age related suffixes (paw, kit) as prefixes or warrior suffixes. Cats made before the implementation of this rule are not required to change their name.
- Cat characters only
- Message a member of staff if your cat leaves/joins a group, moves into the nursery, retires or dies so we can update the allegiances.
- Characters with physical disabilities or mental illnesses should be portrayed realistically and respectfully. Staff reserve the right to archive characters who break this rule.
Having Kittens
- Please message a member of staff when kittens are born so they may be added to the allegiances.
- In general there is a maximum of 6 kittens to a litter.
- The roleplayers of the parents may take one kitten to roleplay each. Efforts should be made to adopt out other surviving kittens by making a post in the plotting forum. If they are not adopted out the roleplayers of the parents may take on additional kittens as they see fit.
- Cats will be pregnant for approximately 2.5 moons (around 5 real life weeks).
- Kits must have realistic appearances but they do not have to be genetically possible from the parents. You are encouraged to consult the kitten predictor or Leopard to determine the genetically possible kittens but this is not a requirement.
Aging and Activity
- Cats will age two moons at the start of each month.
- The season will change every month and a half.
- You need to make one IC post a month or all your characters will be marked as inactive.
- Inactive characters will be archived and removed from allegiances if they are still inactive at the following activity check.
- High ranks need to be in at least one IC post each month. You are also required to keep up with the rank requirements such as ceremonies, helping sick cats etc.
- Message a member of staff or post in the comings and goings thread to be excused from the activity requirements.
